Disorders of the Central Nervous (anxiety, epilepsy, depression, dementia) are the major concern of human society.As per estimates around Sixty to seventy million people in India have been suffering from mild to severe mental disorders and treatment has been given for their condition. From different literatures it is estimated that 22% of individual having one or more mental or behavioural disorders associated during their life time.It is also said that the progress rate of mental illness by 2025 may be catched up with heart disease or may even cross the figure. Since it is considered as the biggest global health concern[1]. This creates huge unmet need to find out the effective treatment modalities of this deadly and curable illness based on knowledge of traditional system of medicines using herbal plants. The use of plants as medicines is an old tradition, far older than the current sciences of medicine, pharmacology, or chemistry; it is a tradition that is rooted both historical and prehistoric precedent,
